NAMI Family Support Group
Meets the 1st Tuesday of Each Month 6:30 – 8 PM
We will be meeting online using Zoom. Zoom is a FREE online service that allows video and voice meetings between multiple people.
You can use Zoom from your PC at www.zoom.us, or download the app from your tablet or smart phone app store. The calendar below shows all our upcoming support groups, educational courses and events.
The NAMI Family Support Group is free and is run by a NAMI Family-to-Family Mentor and trained support group facilitator.
This is an opportunity to share, listen and learn through a mutually supportive audience of your peers in a safe and supportive environment.
The group provides support, education, advocacy and information to family members and friends of those suffering with severe mental illness. Each person has an opportunity, if they wish, to share their current situation with the group. Since everyone attending has or is going through similar issues, everyone can offer understanding and comfort. Often group members are able to offer helpful ideas, suggestions and resources.
